Volunteer of the Month of August

Kevin Boles joined the Estrella Warbirds Museum volunteer team in 2026 and has already made a remarkable impact. A professional driver of heavy trucks, Kevin brings a strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude to every project in the Restoration Department. Whether tackling the most visible jobs or the less glamorous tasks, he takes pride in helping preserve the museum’s collection for future generations.

Kevin recently took the initiative to revive the museum’s Austin Champ Jeep—even without a dedicated restoration budget. During his research, he also discovered the vehicle is actually a 1953 model rather than a 1960, adding an important piece of history to its story.
