About
501(c)(3) Non-Profit Status
Adopting the name of the World War II Estrella Army Air Force Base—now Paso Robles Municipal Airport—the Museum was chartered in 1992 as a not-for-profit California corporation. Soon after, it earned 501(c)(3) accreditation, establishing recognition by the U.S. Departments of the Navy and Air Force, as well as the State of California, as an approved organization to receive surplus aircraft and other government property.
Funding
The majority of our funding comes from individual donations, admissions, memberships, special events, and corporate grants. Our community’s strong support has made our progress possible, and we remain committed to ensuring that every contribution is dedicated directly to the Museum’s operations and growth. Your continued support is vital to our success, and we are deeply grateful to all who have donated their time, materials, funds, and exhibits.
Estrella Warbirds Museum is actively seeking financial, corporate, business, community, and strategic partners to join us in securing the Museum’s future and ensuring it remains a lasting resource within our community.
