Freedom Hall
Freedom Hall is our main building that displays many diverse artifacts. It allows visitors an up-close experience of seeing the uniforms worn, weapons and equipment used, as well as ships, aircraft and vehicles used by veterans in all branches of service. Some of the displays highlighted below just give you an idea of all there is to see in Freedom Hall. There is something of interest in every aisle and display case. There are simply too many to highlight here. A visit to the museum is the only way to really appreciate the variety of artifacts.
This flight suit is representative of many others on display showing those worn by WASP pilots who ferried aircraft to various theaters of battle to pilots and crew members.
Ship models scratch built and handcrafted by one of our museum members, the late Lon Allan, fill various display cases. His attention to detail is evident in the quality of models he built.
There are no fewer than nine display cases of an amazing collection by Todd Pederson of aircraft instrument panels from cockpits of all branches of service including many from countries other than the U.S. If you are a pilot this is a display you will not want to miss.
You may have heard about the Norden bomb sight used in many of the U.S. bombers. Here is your opportunity to see one on display.
This display case shows only a fraction of the military weapons available to view. Many others are on display in other conflict-specific artifact cases.
